Jane Austen's novel comes to life

in this delightful musical comedy!

In the town of Highbury, Emma Woodhouse sets about matchmaking her protégé to the town's vicar, but the scheme backfires.  Mistaken notions of who loves whom turn Emma’s world upside-down until she discovers what she had long denied: Cupid's bow is pointed at herself, and love can be found from an unexpected source.

"Lively, witty and charming...Those familiar with Jane Austen's class novel Emma will readily embrace Joel Alden's interpretation as a musical." - J Christensen, North Hollywood Entertainment Today

"The upper-class Emma Woodhouse who conspires to wed off others (while not sensing what they truly desire), translates beautifully...it was truly an engaging evening of theater." - TalkBack - San Francisco, 2007
